RCLL is exceeding expectations this year in All Stars! We are so proud on these kids, and we are still going strong!
Our Renegades played their way to a 3rd place finish, beating Reno National in the last game! Huge accomplishment for this young group. Really excited to see these kids grow in our league in the next few years, we have some really good ball players!
The Hooligans went 5-0 and beat Washoe in a walk off, thrilling Championship game, 18-17! That win brought the Hooligans Championship back to RCLL for the first time since 2017! Elijah Smith hit 3 homeruns in the tournament, Donovan Licata hit a 6th inning, game tying, 3 run homer in the championship, and Traveil Cooper added an earlier walkoff HR, and walkoff double to win the championship! All the players contributed in big ways, and it was especially rewarding to see our 12 year olds, including Carter Crosby and longtime RC players like Leo Hernandez, Chase Helmholz, and Deangelo Carrillo win a title for RC!
The 10u All Stars balled out! Went 5-0 in pool play and have the best record going into Bracket play on July 5th. These kids are playing together as a team and are surprising a lot of people! They are the youngest and smallest group out there, but they play fearless baseball and its been a pleasure watching them complete against the best kids in the region!
The 12u All Stars went 2-3 in pool play against some tough competition and made it to Bracket play that also starts on July 5th! Congrats to the 12u! We only have four 12 year old players on this team, the rest are 10 and 11. These boys are also the youngest group out there and are playing extremely hard.
Come out and support the all stars next week if you can!
